Your will is the legal document that says how you want your estate to be distributed on your death.  It allows you to appoint a person or people called executors to carry out your wishes.  If you die without a will, the laws of intestacy will apply....

It’s so important to make sure your Will, Power of Attorney and Advance Care Directives are up-to-date, correctly executed and accurately reflect your wishes.

Whilst on the face of it, the DIY Will may seem cheap, quick and viable, the reality is the preparation of your will is one project that should be left to a specialist estate planning lawyer.
