Catherine Moyse - Principal Solicitor
I am passionate about what I do. I love meeting with all my clients, and gain a great deal of satisfaction in knowing that I’ve helped secure peace of mind or assisted with a difficult time in some one’s life. The best compliment I often receive is “if I’d known it would be this easy and painless, I would have done it years ago”!!
I studied law as a mature age student, and graduated with Honours in 2006. While studying I was the CPD Co-ordinator at the Law Society of South Australia, and then spent two years as a Judges Associate at the District Court of South Australia.
I have a young son, who keeps life in perspective. We share our home with a menagerie of pets (2 cats, birds and turtles!) I love the theatre, ballet, cheering on the Adelaide Crows and my son at his many sporting events.
I was involved in Calisthenics from a young age, and was an Assistant Coach for South Australian State and National Teams. I also represented Australia as a member of the Australian Drill Team in International competitions in the USA and Japan and was a member of the team that toured with the Band of the South Australian Police performing at the Royal Tournament in London and the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. I have just started tap dancing – you are never too old to learn - and continue to take jazz classes.
Anne, my Practice Manager accompanies me on most visits to see clients, this allows me to finalise most documents in one visit smoothly and effortlessly with minimum impact on your time.
Anne and I have been lifelong family friends – a friendship that began in kindergarten. We share the same values and together we are fuss free, easy going and cut through all the legal jargon, making the whole experience as painless as possible.
